I was born, raised, and currently live in McCalla, AL.  I graduated from the University of Montevallo with a BS in Biology and a M. Ed. I am a middle school science teacher by day and a mom of two boys by night. I love running, traveling when I can, and fishing. I find myself daydreaming about salvaged wood projects between cooking, playing superheroes, and grading homework. I have always loved architectural salvage and the story behind each piece. Lucky for me I have a husband that can help turn my visions into reality. Creating something new out of what some consider junk is my joy! I make sure each piece I make is something I  love enough to keep for myself, something that represents the South, and something that includes a bit of local Birmingham area salvage. I hope my creations can bring a “Southern Voice” to your home!
